My Mission

JohnDavid Whalen is a former U.S. Naval Officer who works at the intersection of real estate, immersive experiences, and creative strategy. He has operated a small family office invested in property across four U.S. states and two countries over the past 25 years.

He advises investors, developers, and founders on how cities and neighborhoods are likely to evolve before those shifts become obvious or priced into the market. His background spans real estate development, experiential design, and creative strategy, including founding and running a design company in Los Angeles for 12 years after graduating from Miami Ad School. He also has deep experience in storytelling as both an artist and producer in Hollywood for over 17 years.

Today, his focus is identifying early signals that materially move markets, such as regulatory change, migration patterns, education infrastructure, and how people actually use space day to day, and translating those into asset strategy, site selection, and long-term positioning. His work is most relevant to private investors, family offices, real estate funds, and teams building physical or experience-driven ventures that require both strategic clarity and cultural judgment.
